Nice to have but...

I gave this item 5 stars because it performs well is cheap and was described accurately. It is basically a specially-sized handled bag with an attached absorbant pad to soak up wetness. I really loved these for our recent week-long backpacking trip around Europe. I liked the convenience of having the bags ready with the pad inside and so neatly packaged.



However for regular use we buy the smallest size of trash bags and toss a disposable nursing pad inside. Perfect! I keep an extra ziploc with a roll of bags and a corresponding number of nursing pads in our car at all times replenishing as needed. I was skeptical of the need for an absorbant pad at first but now I prefer it. If you aren't going to be able to dispose of the potty bag immediately you definitely don't want to be carrying around a baggie with a cup of pee inside!



I would purchase these again for a specific trip but for everyday use I prefer the trash bag/disposable pad method.More detail ...

Tricky at first but overall very good.

I've had this seat for some time and I saw all of the negative reviews. It took a bit to figure out the quirks but once I did it was fine. The seat has to go on the very front of the public toilet not the back or in the middle like mine at home. You have to make sure that it is on securely with the lip in the front against the front of the seat. Otherwise it will fold which is probably what happened to the other reviewer. It will slid off as you come off if you're not careful. My five year old uses it by herself and I use it with my 2 year old. It is so compact that I can stick it in my purse (I carry in in a zippy bag) and very easy to clean. It's not just for kids!

I am a pregnant mom of two ages 3 & 1. I got them in the car after shopping and realized I had to go! I wasn't about to drag them back into the store! I have a minivan. I crouched between the seats and took a chance. These bags can hold a lot of volume! So they're durable! Not a proud moment but necessary! My 3y/o is great with them and they were a lifesaver when we drove 12hrs to vacation with a preschooler with a tiny bladder!More detail ...
